“Nigerians cannot do without eating rice and swallows. If you want to loose weight, stop eating rice”. Dr. Quincy Sumbo Ayodele made this assertion while she explained how we can lose weight with herbs on #YourViewTVC 

The grandmother of four spoke with the ladies on how loosing weight should be a lifestyle. She added that weight has to be eliminated and herbs helps in eliminating excess fat that has been stored in our system.

She further explained that eating Rice and Nigerian swallow food is not good for loosing weight.

“Nigerians cannot do without eating rice and swallows. If you want to loose weight, stop eating rice. Swallows have alternatives and rice has alternative, you can grate cabbage and cook it for eating as alternatives for other foods”.

According to her, “Herbs are very rich in fibre, and we need fibre to eliminate fats in the system, and also to balance the sugar level”.

She included that the number one herb that Nigerians should use for weight loss is Lemon water.

“One major herbs Nigerians should take regularly is, ‘lemon water’. Pawpaw therapy is also another way to lose weight: Take unripe paw-paw for breakfast, boil the back of the paw-paw in the afternoon & swallow the seed for dinner.”

She concluded by saying that there are no side effects to common herbs but the intake shouldn’t be abused. She advised that at least eight bottles of water should be taken per day.
