Buhari emerges Grand Patron Committee on Corporate Philanthropy

Panic in Lagos over plane crash simulation

TVCE (LAGOS) - Lagosians, particularly those living around the Oworonshoki area of the state on Thursday scamper for safety following the rumour of a plane crash in the area.Rumours of a plane crash spread around Lagos as panicky residents said they saw a plane going down around Oworonshoki area. But Lagos State Government debunked the rumours, saying what people saw was merely a simulation exercise. Thirty years after emerging victorious in the FIFA U-17 tournament in China, the victorious Golden Eaglets team were rewarded by President Muhammadu Buhari with a cash gift of N2 million to each player, while their coaches were given N1.5 million each. Court adjourns Dasuki’s trial till Friday

TVC E, POLITICS - A federal high court in Abuja, has adjourned the trial of former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, till Friday. Dasuki is standing trial for alleged diversion of $2.1billion meant to buy weapons to combat Boko Haram militants. Dasuki's lawyers - Mr. Joseph Daudu (SAN) and Mr. Ahmed Raji (SAN) - had indicated that they would not be in court on Thursday, prompting presiding judge, Justice Baba Yusuf to adjourn the case. The duo had informed the court they will be attending an  election petition tribunal’s sitting in Kogi on same day (Thursday). The lawyer to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), did not oppose Dasuki’s lawyers’ request for adjournment.
