Father watches as Leopard attacks and drags his 6 year old son away

A six year old boy, Kellan Denny, who was playing with his eight year old brother at Kruger National Park, a South African game reserve, was snatched up by a Leopard and carried away while their father watched. His father said he watched in horror as his son was dragged for 30 metres by the Leopard after having sunk its razor sharp jaws into his son's shoulder. He said he ran after the Leopard shouting and yelling for it to put his son down. Fortunately and by God's grace, the leopard dropped the boy allowing his father to pick him up and carry him to safety. Woman arrested for attempting to cut off lover’s testicles

A 28-year-old American woman named Rosarie Francois has been arrested for allegedly trying to rip off her boyfriend's testicles. Francois was involved in a heated 'verbal altercation' with her boyfriend while driving in the car, according to Daily Star. The feud got physical when the lovers got to their home in Florida. INEC chiefs to face disciplinary panel over bribery allegations

The national office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has summoned some of its officials linked to the alleged N23.29 billion bribe the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is probing. The EFCC has quizzed 16 top INEC officials, including 10 directors, over the scandal. Those invited are two Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) and an administrative officer. The RECs are Gesila Khan and Austen Okojie, who have been under investigation by the EFCC and other security agencies. On the list too is an Administrative Secretary in Delta State, Uluochi Obi Brown. Khan has been quizzed for allegedly collecting N185, 842,000 out of a N681 million bribe. Brown allegedly got N111,500,000. The officials will appear on Wednesday before the Senior Staff Disciplinary Committee chaired by a National Commissioner, Mustapha Lecky. Southwest PDP crisis deepens over zoning

The crisis rocking the Southwest Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has remained unabated, following the lack of agreement among the chieftains on zoning. A reliable source in the Bode George camp, said his group alleged that the Buruji camp decided to compromise the interest of the zone because it has the backing of some elders, including Chief Shuaib Oyedokun. In a statement in Lagos by Prof. Tejumade Akintoye-Rholes on behalf of ‘Lagos Collectives,’ the group advised the elders to stand by principle and refrain from relegating the interest of Yoruba to the background. Police Maritime Command boss reads riot act to pipeline vandals

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the Maritime Command, Mohammad Katsina, says it will no longer be business as usual for pipeline vandals, smugglers and pirates in the area under his watch. Katsina, who recently assumed the leadership of the Command in April, said he had created two additional departments comprising men with special training in diving, to serve as quick responders. The Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, said in a statement on Sunday that the restructuring was for better effectiveness in its operations against smugglers, pirates and pipeline vandals, whose activities had increased in recent times.
