Electricity Consumers demand speedy distribution of prepaid meters

As the federal government continues to improve on ways to ensure that issues of estimated bills by electricity distribution companies end as quickly as possible, consumers say making prepaid meters available will be the final solution. NLC holds emergency meeting over subsidy removal

 The meeting by Labour leaders scheduled for Friday to decide on a possible protest against the increase in the price of petrol has been shifted to Saturday. But in its first reaction on Thursday, a few hours after the announcement, labour described the hike as insensitive, saying it would call out its members as well as labour affiliates for a protest.
