APC says rescue of Chibok Girl has put Fayose and Patience Jonathan to shame

The South East Caucus of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the rescue of Amina Ali, one of the abducted Chibok school girls, has put to shame the former First Lady, Mrs Patience Jonathan and the governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose. The spokesman of the Caucus, Mr Osita Okechukwu, who made this assertion, said the rescue put them to shame because they had always thought that the abduction of the girls was a scam meant to demonise the Goodluck Jonathan regime. Pastor caught with suspected fried human flesh

A pastor in Akure, Ondo State capital has been arrested after he was caught with fried meat suspected to be human flesh. The accused, identified as Adeniyi Johnson, was arrested on Wednesday evening at Ijomu area of Akure. Johnson reportedly brought out pieces of fried meat, put them in a tray and urged people around to join him in eating the meant. He was about to be lynched by people, suspected his actions but was saved by security agents, who whisked him to the palace of the Akure monarch for interrogation. The suspect, who claimed to be a pastor of a Pentecostal church, was alleged to have been sacked after the church found out of his unbalanced mental state. Tee Mac denies music union’s president claims

Ex-President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, Tee Mac Omatshola Itseli has denied allegations of taking possession of an eight hectares of land belonging of the union for personal use. In a recent report by Punch Newspaper, Tee Mac insisted that the land in dispute is still registered in the name of PMAN and had never attempted to convert it to personal use. In his words, “The land in question is still registered in the name of PMAN, so I don’t know why this type of accusation is directed at me.” Continuing, he said, ‘As a law-abiding citizen, I have worked tirelessly to contribute my quota to the development of the association and also music in Nigeria.
