Nigerian disc jockey almost on his way to a new World Record

One of Nigeria’s foremost Disk Jockey; DJ’, Obi is on the verge of something monumental. DJ’, Obi as popularly known is currently attempting to break the Guinness World Record for Longest DJ Set. The ten-day set which began from 10 p.m, June 22nd, will run through 10 p.m. on July 1st, 2016. The current record for Longest DJ Set is 200 hours and was set on November 19, 2014 in Dublin, Ireland. Posthumous Muhammad Ali exhibition set to begin

Preparations are under way for the opening of ‘Muhammad Ali: Tribute to a Legend’, — an exhibition dedicated posthumously to world boxing legend Muhammad Ali (1942-2016), which will open this Eid Al-Fitr at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA). On show on MIA’s fourth floor eastern gallery, the temporary exhibition will present a unique collection of artefacts from the boxing legend’s career, including photography from Ali’s outdoor exhibition bout at the Doha Stadium in 1971 and memorabilia spanning his journey to the 1960 Rome Olympics; Ali’s world title winning bout against Sonny Liston in 1964 and his final world title winning fight against Leon Spinks in New Orleans in 1978. Manchester City sign Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy

TVC E. Australia international midfielder Aaron Mooy has joined Manchester City from sister club Melbourne City. The 25-year-old has agreed a three-year deal at the Etihad, according to the Australian side. Mooy scored 11 goals and chipped in with an A-League record 21 assists in his first season with Melbourne and has twice being named the club's Player of the Year since joining in 2014.
