Image result for El-Rufai demolishes APC chieftain's house in KadunaBulldozers have rolled into a building owned by the National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Inuwa Abdulkadir.

The demolition exercise has remained a talking point for residents of the state and beyond.

Many now believe the move demonstrates that the crises rocking the state chapter of the party is  far from over.

Tesem Akende reports that  29, Yakubu Avenue in the heart of Kaduna is where the edifice once stood.  It’s one that was erected with about the best of materials in the market and   structures in this part of Kaduna city include among others the United Nations building, and hotels.

On a daily basis, passersby now stand  astonished as to what may have necessitated the leveling of the four bedroom duplex.

Government officials told me in telephone conversations that the owner of the house erected it without due process.

The eye of the storm, Inuwa Abdulkadir described the claims by the government officials as laughable.  The APC chieftain said the Kaduna governor has only made good a promise he made to him during a meeting in Abuja.

This lawyer, and politician admitted that the Kaduna governor has remained a clog in the wheel of peace in the party in his state.

He added that El-Rufai has assumed the position of a demi-god, operating against the party upon which he came to power.

The case is now in court, but he insists that he remains strong, and that not even destroying his house would bring him down.
