UEFA Champions League: How Ronaldo stood out in Madrid 3-1 victory over PSG

Real Madrid pulled out from a goal down to a victorious 3-1 win over Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League with Ronaldo hitting the net with 2 goals.

Ronaldo in his opinion, say he “stood out” at the last-16 champions league tie with PSG.

The French champions, PSG took the lead with the 33rd-minute strike from Adrien Rabiot. Ronaldo who was the equalising saviour at the 45th minute, after Giovani Lo Celso knocked Kroos down at the penalty area, gave Real Madrid a high motivation with his first goal. Ronaldo completed his brace with an 83rd minute goal and Marcelo’s 86th minute goal gave Madrid a n edging head over PSG.

speaking with Sky sport, Ronaldo said “Today, I stood out, I helped the team to win by scoring two goals, but we know that the tie is not finished yet.”

Neymar who had an amazing play at Bernabeu did very well with showing off skills, but wasn’t able to score a goal. Neymar has been rumoured of a possible return Spain as a replacement for Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu.
