Ruggedman and CSP Opetodalopo Badmus exchange clash over SARS brutality
A report which alleged that a young man died after being tortured by SARS operatives in Ogun State & a video showing the moment some SARS officers allegedly beat up a young man, went viral on the internet yesterday. Rapper, Ruggedman who’s attention was drawn to one of the cases had an exchange of words with CSP Badmus on social media.

Man feared dead after being beaten by SARS officers for refusing a phone check . . There is currently confusion in Ogba,Lagos, following the assault of a young man, yesterday, by some SARS officers. . . According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened at Haruna Bus stop. It was gathered that the victim had just stepped out of an eatery when he was accosted by some SARS officers who demanded a phone check, but he refused. . . Angered by his refusal, they descended heavily on him, as seen in the video above. According to an eyewitness, “They demanded to see his phone, which he refused. The next thing was them harassing him and tied him all up. . . I heard he died though, but not sure about it. Another source said he's in the hospital as those in the area didn't allow SARS officials drop him when they noticed he was convulsing, so they took him to a private hospital.”
CSP Badmus had hinted that the police hierarchy was aware of the incident and that investigations are on to make sure that the culpable officers will be brought to justice.
However, Ruggedman who wasn’t convinced with the statement saying that citizens wanted to see such cases in court and hear jail sentences pronounced on convicted officers.

In a swift response, CSP Badmus berated the rapper for his comments, saying she was disappointed in his comments, saying hand not believing the assurance from the Lagos State police commissioner who she claimed was on top of the case.
