Report had it that Chidinma had issues with the sharing formula of the label managed by clarence Peters and rapper Ill Bliss.

According reports then the sharing formula from Chidinma’s concerts/shows, endorsements and other sources of revenue generation regarding her music had been 60:40 until about two years ago when the singer agitated for a 70:30 ratio, and her request was reluctantly granted by Clarence and Ill Bliss. But what eventually became the last straw that broke the camel’s back was the beautiful singer’s recent demand for a 90:10 sharing ratio, a proposal that was instantly rejected by Clarence and Ill Bliss.

However, In a recent interview, Ill Bliss cleared the air that Chidinma didn’t leave the label, but the contract signed with the singer had ended and they didn’t want to renew because the relationship they had degenerated.

It was a little bit tough for the singer after she left Capital Hills, but according to her, she’s a strong woman and can’t imagine herself falling out even with the challenges.

“Yes! Things got a little tough after I left Capital Hills, but not to the point of me wanting to give up. No! It never got to that point.”

When asked by Foladele if she ever had the thought of giving up on her music career, she said;

“I don’t think I have ever found myself in that situation. if it ever happens, i don’t think i would want to give up. i’m a strong woman…”
