Chef Aderonke (Chef 5) made her debut appearance on the show today, December 13th and she gave us a special menu of ‘Sesame Coriander Rice’ with ‘Sweet and Sour Chicken’.

The necessary Ingredients are:

Groundnut oil
Mushroom
Baby Corn
Bell Peppers
Pineapple
Coriander
Chopped Ginger and Garlic
Brown Sugar
Basmati Rice
Chicken Breast
Ketchup
Sesame seeds
Corn Flour
Oyster Sauce
Chilli Flakes
Onions
Rice Wine Vinegar
Sesame Oil

Simple Steps To Prepare 'Sesame Coriander Rice' With 'Sweet and Sour Chicken'

The steps to take:

First, you need to parboil your rice. While that is going on, marinate the chicken with oyster sauce, soy sauce and brown sugar. Add the corn flour and then, fry. (This gives it the crunchy, sweet taste).
Next, turn in little vegetable oil, sesame oil, chopped garlic and ginger, ketchup and then, sliced pineapple and brown sugar into your fry pan. Add the vinegar to activate the flavors in your ingredients and give it the sweet and sour taste. Pour your already fried chicken into this mixture and mix for about 30 seconds before you then add the baby corn and bell peppers.

In a fresh pan, add little vegetable oil, very little sesame oil, sesame seed and coriander. Fry it up and then, add the already parboiled rice. And your meal is ready. Watch video below to see the easy step by step procedure:
