Eat Italian Meal Sometimes, Try Out Egg Panzanella Salad With Fruit Kebab

Not every time, ‘Nigerian meal, Naija Jollof or 9ja delicacies’, you should try Italian dishes sometimes, they don’t hurt.

March 4th 2019, Chef Nathaniel of Natido Cuisine gave us a special kind of recipe on Wake Up Nigeria this morning. Yes, it’s Italian but he even tweaked it a bit to soothe the stomach of Nigerian consumers, lol. This meal of “Egg Panzanella Salad” is a kind of Italian food that has been modified with the additional use of eggs and the frying up of the vegetables.

Ingredients to use include:

Chopped Bread
Eggs
Milk
Bell Pepper
Tomato
Onions
Basil Leaf
Green Peas
Scallion
Cinnamon
Vinegar
Fruit
Nutmeg
Garlic
Carrot
Lettuce
Rosemary
Crayfish
Black pepper
Salt
Seasoning
Olive Oil
Cabbage
Black Pepper

Remember that cooking gets better with enough creativity, you can include or exclude any of the items to soothe your taste.

Egg Panzanella Salad Ingredients

After your ingredients are ready,

  • Add a bit of cinnamon into the already chopped bread for extra flavor and then fry it in very little oil to get it to be golden brown and crispy.
  • In another fry pan, add little oil, then onions, yellow, green & red bell peppers, scent leaf, black pepper, rosemary, seasoning, salt and nutmeg.
  • After it has fried for a while, beat eggs mixed with lots of cream or milk into the fry pan and briefly simmer/mix the contents together.
  • The cabbage and carrot should be added afterwards and then you turn all the contents into the bread pan and let them heat up for a while.
