Monalisa Chinda Reacts Subtly To Court Arrest Order
Following an application by the Lagos State Ministry of Justice alleging that Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda had repeatedly failed to honor a court summon, Justice Adedayo Akintoye of a Lagos High Court in Igbosere issued her arrest a few days ago.
The court order was issued for the actress’ alleged failure to pay income tax due for over a 6-year period. It was alleged that Monalisa Chinda refused to perform her civic duty of paying her tax to the Lagos State government for her business located in Lekki on the Lagos Island.
In what looks like a reply to this arrest warrant, the actress proceeded to her Instagram page to write:
“Please don’t shy away from challenges because they will always come; instead take them head on! That’s the best way to grow!!!
Be graceful, always!!”
She topped it with a video of her dancing the famous Zanku dance with the caption:
“Don’t be afraid if you come into fiery trials, for gold is purified in the fire. The fire will not consume you, nor the waters overwhelm you.”
