Victoria Kimani apologises for slut-shaming Tiwa Savage

Former Chocolate City artiste, Victoria Kimani has apologised for slut-shaming Tiwa Savage in her viral #FvckYouChallenge cover.

The Kenyan-born singer apologised after fellow female rapper, Pryse called her to order for slut-shaming Tiwa Savage. According to Pryse, Victoria Kimani was right for calling out Tiwa Savage for blocking her from performing in shows, but for slut-shaming Tiwa, Pryse felt Kimani could have approached that in a better way.

Victoria Kimani took the viral #FvckYouChallenge to another level as she took a direct swipe at singers Tiwa Savage & Ycee.

She claimed in the track that Tiwa was ‘selling her pu*sy’.

“Grandma African bad gyal,turning 45 and still claiming bad girl.You can block me from a show but you can’t block my blessings.We all know you selling pu*ssy and it’s so depressing”

This led to multiple backlash on social media, as many called out Kimani for slut shamming Tiwa.

However reacting to Pryse calling her to order, Victoria Kimani has now apologized for slut-shaming Tiwa Savage, though adding that she is not sorry for other things she said. She wrote;

Meanwhile, CEO of Chocolate City, M.I Abaga has posted on his Instagram showing support for Tiwa.

Ycee also reacted to being called out by Victoria Kimani in her track, saying he thought it was a joke, not until he saw the snippet on her Instagram.

Speaking with punch, Saturday Beats, Ycee said;

“We heard the song Victoria Kimani sang claiming that we stole it from her but I think she was just chasing shadows.

“She did not reach out to us before now because she heard the song she claims Ycee stole from her several times before it was released.

“They are both artistes and friends so she was privileged to hear the song several times before it was released.

“She was looking for a free promo that is just basically what she was doing. If you go online, you would read the response of people to her accusation. That is the industry for you.

“Why take your issues to the social media when you have each other’s telephone numbers? Her accusation has come to us as a shock that she would call Ycee out for such a thing.

“How can she claim that someone stole her song? It is just funny. At the moment, Ycee is very busy working on his album; in fact, he is putting finishing touches to it. Once it is done, everyone would know about it.”
