Man arrested for creating locally made guns for armed robbers in Katsina
Haruna Ibrahim, 25, has been apprehended by Katsina State Police Command for fabricating locally made guns for armed bandits in Kankara Local Government axis of the state.
Spokesperson for the Command, SP Isah Gambo disclosed that the police team of Operation Adder, found eight locally made guns displayed at his shop during investigation last week.
“In the course of investigation suspect confessed to have specialized in fabricating, manufacturing and sale of locally made firearms. Investigation is ongoing” he said.
He further implored the public to continue to provide more useful information to the police about the hideouts and activities of bandits in their areas for prompt action.
