Young man arrested for killing brother over N500

In Abia state, an Abia state polytechnic student, Chisom has stabbed his brother, Joseph to death as they fought over N500. According to sources, Chisom went to their mother’s shop yesterday to ask Joseph for N500, but Joseph told him to meet their mother for it. This made Chisom angry and he left the shop and went home. When Joseph returned home at night, Chisom blocked the house entrance and refused him from entering the house. A fight ensued and Chisom brought out a knife with which he stabbed Joseph to death. Chisom was apprehended by residents the following morning and was later handed over to the police. In a video shared online, youths in the area can be seen asking Chisom what happened at night that led to him killing his brother. A Nigerian man and four others have been found guilty of attempting to steal over £3 million

Five men have been found guilty of hacking into an e-mail account and attempting to steal more than £3 million from a London businessman.   All five suspects were convicted at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday, 22 May following a five-month trial.   Anthony Oshodi, 49, (pictured above) as found guilty of one count of money laundering, one count of possession of a false identify document and three counts of possession of articles for use in fraud. Four suspected internet fraudsters apprehended in Lekki

EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, have apprehended four suspected fraudsters for an alleged involvement in internet crimes. The suspects are: Salako Segun, Bryan Emeka, Jason Odunola and Daniel Ezo. According to the EFCC, the suspects were arrested on Friday, May 24th in the Bakare Estate, Lekki and Osapa London, Lekki areas of Lagos State. Their arrest followed intelligence report received by the Commission. Seven women caught for stealing and selling two children

Police command from Edo State has arrested three women for allegedly kidnapping and selling two children, on Wednesday. According to reports, the children, aged two and four, were stolen in Utese Community by one Mary Paul in June, 2018. She reportedly sold them to one Rita Eze in Delta State who in turn sold the four-year-old child to Comfort Dike John who runs an orphanage in Okigwe in Imo State. The suspects are Comfort Dike John, Glory Onuoha (38), Adendu Ifeoma (40), Evangeline Akubor (38), Chinyere Okeke (39), Ogechi (38) and Anioke Augustina (48).
