It's been the greatest six season-long scoring duel in football history and this weekend it passed another incredible milestone – Messi and Ronaldo have clocked-up 1,000 goals between them after reaching the four-figure goal haul in just 1,385 games.
After scoring in La Liga's top of the table clash, Messi has scored 482 of those goals in 612 games, with 433 goals for Barcelona and 49 for Argentina. With more games played, Ronaldo has contributed 518 goals.
