APC Senator allegedly stoned for supporting Saraki

Console a bereaved constituent All Progressives Congress (APC) Senator Isah Misau, who represents Bauchi Central district, was allegedly attack by irate youths on Saturday in the Ningi area of his constituency, according to two eyewitnesses. The two sources said Senator Misau was in Ningi to attend a social function when he came under attack. It was at the social function that the Senator was apparently pelted with stones and bottles. Senator Misau however denied he was attacked for supporting Senate President Bukola Saraki One of the eye witnesses, named as Isa Sa’ad, said Senator Misau was attacked because of his support for the embattled Senate President, Bukola Saraki, who is under pressure to resign because of his ongoing corruption trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
