Indeed, there is no permanent enemy in politics but permanent interest. If anyone had predicted that ever trending Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose and his hitherto estranged party man, Tope Aluko will ever see eye-to-eye, his prediction would have been swept under the carpet. DSS operatives arrest politicians in Ekiti state

TVC E, POLITICS - Security operatives have arrested some political appointees and elected public office holders in Ekiti State. The Speaker of the Ekiti House of  Assembly, who confirmed the arrests to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, said a member of the House had been taken to Abuja by DSS operatives, while the whereabouts of three other members were unknown. The Speaker alleged that the action of the DSS was part of the plot, to coerce the lawmakers to impeach Governor Ayo Fayose. Ekiti traditional rulers deny anti Aluko plot

TVC E, -POLITICS - Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers has dissociated its members from an online publication entitled, How Ekiti Obas rebuffed Fayose plan on Anti Dr Tope Aluko plot. The Obas addressed journalists at their monthly meeting in Ado Ekiti, the state capital. #EkitiGate : Aluko lied, says Fayose

TVC E, POLITICS - Ekiti Governor Ayodele Fayose has berated an ex-secretary of the state's chapter of the PDP, Tope Aluko over allegations that former president Goodluck Jonathan funded his election win. Aluko claimed that Jonathan gave Fayose $37 million cash for the June 21, 2014 governorship election on Sunday. The embattled PDP chieftain, a member of the team that prosecuted the election, said Jonathan gave Fayose the alleged sum in two tranches. He alleged that $2 million was collected in March 2014 at the NNPC Towers in Abuja for the primary election. He said the money was received from businessman Ifeanyi Uba, who last night denied playing any role in the election or giving Fayose any money.
