Kaduna State Police Command has declared a State of Emergency, to stop the rising cases of kidnapping in the state.
The command's spokesman, Zubairu Abubakar says the declaration,was on the orders of the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase.
He said a new squad had been formed,to track and dislodge the criminal gangs.
In some of the recent kidnap cases, Colonel Samaila Inusa, was killed by his abductors, hours after he was abducted in March.
Abubakar said that the police had made several arrests and commenced prosecution of some of the suspected kidnappers....

TVC E, NEWS - Former Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker Victor Olabimtan, has recounted his experience after he was freed by his abductors.
Olabimtan, who spent three days with his kidnappers said he was forced to walk barefooted in the bush and also made to pass the night in a pit with other abductees.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant also confirmed that ransom was paid without given the exact amount while narrating his experience to reporters at his home in the capital of the state, Akure.
