Ogun workers suspend strike for two weeks

TVC E, NEWS - Workers in Ogun State Wednesday night announced the suspension of their indefinite strike‎ “for two weeks” for the governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun to, address their demands. The state chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress,  Akeem Ambali, who disclosed this to our Correspondent in Abeokuta, said all workers under the employ of the state should resume at their duty posts on Thursday. Ambali said the suspension of the industrial action became necessary following intervention from well-meaning personalities, including members of the state House of Assembly and top traditional rulers.  He said, “Yes, we have suspended the strike. But it is for two weeks to enable the state government look into our demands.
