Building Collapse: Ambode assures residents of safe Lagos

TVC E. Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has pledged his administration's commitment to free the state from incessant building collapse. The governor who took to his twitter handle to announce the sack of top officers in the state's building Control Agency said government will deal decisively with anyone frustrating the efforts of the government in ensuring a safe Lagos. ''In line with the Lekki building collapse some government officials have been relieved of their duties.  We've ordered the immediate sealing of the construction site and cessation of further construction. The responsibility of any government is to ensure safety of lives & property of its citizens and this government is determined not to fail in that duty,'' Ambode tweeted. The Governor continued by saying: ''We have also ensured the coordinated emergency rescue of all injured victims and treatment.
