A 22 year old young man simply identified as Tunde Sanusi has been arrested for allegedly beating up a 37-year-old pregnant woman, Dupe Balogun, for failing to vacate the house after she was served a quit notice.
Sanusi, whose father owns a house located on Andrew Street, Lagos Island, Lagos State, is currently facing assault charges at a Tinubu Magistrate’s Court.
Our Crime Correspondent reports that the accused pounced on Balogun on Sunday, March 27, and struck repeatedly to a pulp, and in the process, damaging one of her eyes, after he had threatened to kill her and her son if they failed to leave his father's house within a stipulated time.

Oye-Lowo Ayediran Ajanaku (38yrs) was stabbed to death by his wife Yewande Oyeniran (Nee Fatoki) in the wee hours of Tuesday morning February the 2nd, 2016 in their home at Akobo estate, Ibadan after a quarrel.
