Majek drums up support for President Buhari

Veteran reggae singer, Majek Fashek has urged Nigerians to support the effort of this present administration to strengthen and rebuild the country. Majek made the call during his performance at the 10th edition of AY Live, an annual comedy and music show organised by comedian, Ayo Makun at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos. According to him, Nigeria’s problem was poverty and not just corruption, adding that the President should tackle poverty. According to him, President Buhari should support the poor people in Nigeria because that is the only way Nigeria can rise. Fela did not die of AIDS, he was killed by Abacha – Majek Fashek

TVC E. Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly known as Majek Fashek, has said his friend, Afro-beat legend Fela Kuti was killed by former military president Sani Abacha. Majek Fashek, who was on TVC Entertainment's breakfast show #YourViewTVC, claims Fela did not die of HIV/AIDS as believed in some quarters.
