Quintuplet Mom Dies Days After Losing Two Of Her Babies

A 28-year-old woman who gave birth to a set of quintuplets last month died on Sunday. Two of her babies, both boys, died last week while under special care at the hospital. The woman identified as Evaline Namukhula gave birth to the five babies in Kakamega area of Kenya. Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) chief executive Wilson Aruasa, said Ms Namukhula complained of chest pains and persistent headache on Saturday night and doctors put her on antibiotics and conducted a blood clot test. According to Dr Aruasa,  the MTRH boss said she suffered from pulmonary embolism, a blood clot, which blocked blood vessels in her lungs. Immediately after the scan, she vomited, started sweating and had difficulty breathing before collapsing midday.  She was taken to the semi-intensive care unit, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Mother of 4 tries to commit suicide with her 12 months-old baby by trying to jump into a Lagoon.

A 27-year-old mother of 4, Remi(Alias) tried committing suicide with her 12 months -old baby by trying to jump into the Lagoon. Remi was restrained by two Rapid Response Squad (RRS) riders from off the Third Mainland Bridge. According to the mother of 4, she claimed she heard a voice calling out to her to come to the Third Mainland Bridge. Remi was spotted by a cab driver who immediately drew the attention of the Rapid Response Squad on routine Patrol of the area.She was seen with her 12-months old baby on Tuesday the 17th May, 2016 at about 5:00pm when the incident occurred.
