Suspects Reveal How They Lured And Killed Two Bureau De Change Operators

Members of a criminal gang were recently arrested by Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Lagos State for killing  Bureau de Change operators and threw their bodies in a septic tank. The suspects narrated how they lured two Bureau de change operators identified as Yakubu Musa and Hassan Umoru, to an uncompleted building in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, collected N1.6 million from them, killed them and then threw their bodies into a septic tank on March 14th. According to a statement from the state police command  the duo were declared missing by their colleagues after they failed to return to their office. The matter was reported to the police and during investigations, three suspects – Oluwatosin Olarewaju, Mayowa Olawuni and Babatunde Idris, were arrested in connection with the crime. A man identified as Chinedum has expressed his shock and disgust as he witnessed parents bribing invigilators to write their kids' exams during the recently concluded National Common Entrance examination. Two suspects arrested over murder of FUTO student

Imo State Police has apprehended two suspects for allegedly killing a 26-year-old student of Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Kingsley Okwudiri. Nigeria ranks Second Worst in the World in Use of Sovereign Wealth Fund- IMF

The International Monetary Fund has ranked Nigeria as the second worst country in the world in the use of sovereign wealth funds. According to the Fiscal Monitor report released on Wednesday, Qatar was the only country worse than Nigeria on the index. Abuja Land speculator gets 70-years jail term for forgery

Justice C.O Agbaza of the Federal high court, sitting in Jabi Abuja, on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, sentenced and convicted one Kehinde Bello, to 70 years imprisonment for obtaining by false pretence and forgery. EFCC, had arraigned the convict for trial on 10-count charge bordering on Advance Fee Fraud, forgery and conspiracy. Bello’s problem started in 2008, through a petition by Enatto-Nana Aisha to the EFCC, complaining of the convict, who approached her to pay for of a landed property in Abuja, claiming to be a staff of the Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA. Being convinced of the transaction, she parted with N28 million, being initial deposit to the convict. But the convict disappeared without letter of allocation, as he had promised.
