Rights Activists demand release of jailed Soldiers

[caption id="attachment_10042" align="alignleft" width="300"] Nigerian jailed Soldiers[/caption] TVC E, NEWS - The president of the campaign for democracy, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin has called for the immediate release of Brigadier-General Enitan Ransome-Kuti, the son of the late human rights activist, Beko Ransome-Kuti by the Nigerian Military high command. This demand was made during the 10th anniversary celebration of the late Beko ransome-kuti. Political correspondent, Ayodele Ozugbakun reports that the campaign for democracy led other civil rights activist to the Beko memorial cenotaph located in Anthony village area of Lagos. It was a platform to mirror democracy in Nigeria in the light of the contributions of the late Beko to the enthronement of democracy. The convener, Dr Joe Okei Odumakin used the anniversary to call for the release of beko's son who was recently sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by a military court. Arms scandal: Aregbesola seeks heavy punishment for looters

TVC NEWS :Rauf Aregbesola the Osun State Governor, said on Friday at the 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day in honour of fallen heroes in Osogbo, that those involved in sharing the $2.1bn meant for arms procurement should be made to face the consequences of their offense without exception. .
