It was earlier reported in some news media that a particular bouncer identified as Roy Emmanuel, who doubles as Wizkid bodyguard as well as the Chief bouncer of Club DNA, had an altercation with another staff of the club.
American singer, Chris Brown, has announced that Wizkid will be a special guest on his "One Hell of a Nite" tour in Denmark, Germany and Holland.
Brown made a post on his Instagram on May 29, 2016, which revealed Wizkid on the cover of a banner.
Wizkid has been enjoying international recognition ever since his remix of the "Ojuelegba" hit song with Drake.
Recently, Drake featured him on his "One Dance" hit track, which has seen attention surrounding the Nigerian singer grow to an exponential height.
In a recent interview with American radio station, Hot 97, Mayback Music Group rapper, Wale, said that he thought Drake's "Controlla" song had a lot of Wizkid's influence on it, though no credit was given to the Nigerian singer.
Wale had maintained quite a good relationship with Wizkid, whom he mentioned he is proud of, alongside top music acts like Olamide and Davido.
Mavin act Reekado Banks has put paid to the debate on whether he is a much better artist than Starboy boss, Wizkid.
There had been a fierce argument between the two singers' fans on social media on Thursday on who was the better musician.
But Reekado has come out to state that there was no basis for comparisons because Wizkid is his mentor.
He took to Twitter and wrote:
“Let me clear the air real quick. Wizkid isn’t only my mentor but one of the GREATS who have paved way for the young ones like me,” Reekado Banks tweeted on Thursday.
“Please dont disrespect Wizkid by comparing him to me wey just dey start abeg,” he added.
This is not the first time the 'Chop Am' crooner is being compared to other artistes.
